On 16 April 2025, Multipli announced a Turtle x Multipli collab - essentially, any deposit made on the Turtle Multipli vault would gain additional yield and orbs. The news spread quickly and the collaboration was welcomed by the community. Many users migrated their funds to the Turtle Multipli vault and this increased the buzz around Multipli. However, the community had a major concern…

Wen Orbs?

The vault saw traction from the second it was announced; Multipli saw new deposits coming in from users new and old. And some even withdrew their funds from Multipli to deposit in the Turtle vault. But over time, users reached out to us claiming their Orbs weren't visible in their Multipli account.

Upon investigation, we discovered that only Turtle Vault users were affected, and the number of complaints was increasing over time. This caused some uncertainty in the community, and there were also a few people who questioned the collaboration's authenticity.

In reality, the Orbs were being generated, but they weren't visible to the Turtle Vault users. This was because the Turtle vault is a singular vault interacting with Multipli, so all the Orbs generated by users went to that vault. While the Orbs would eventually be distributed to each user based on their deposit and activity, it wasn’t visible in users’ Multipli accounts.

Big W Secured…But What’s Next?

This was a big W for the Turtle X Multipli collab, and it was well received by the community, with yappers and influencers jumping onto their X (formerly Twitter) accounts to talk about it.

With this feature, we struck down another issue our community faced, and it was all due to the valuable feedback we received.

Now that this is out of the way, you might ask what’s next on our calendar. Let’s just say…it has something to do with yapping.
