Partial selling is now possible!

On June 3rd, Multipli pulled a classic ‘’you asked, we listened’’ move and announced that the partial sell/withdrawal feature was live on Multipli mainnet via a tweet (we’re still calling them tweets, right?) and the announcement was met with amazing yaps and engagement.

If your question is “Why wasn't this feature available since launch?” or you’re just curious about the feature, we have the answers.

What is this feature?

Previously, people did not have the option to sell or withdraw their Multipli funds partially, they had to either withdraw everything or nothing; it was all or nothing. This was a constraint for users when planning their portfolio strategies.

Why wasn't this a basic feature?

We can answer this question using two points:

• Starting Simple, Scaling Smartly: Multipli’s most important priority was to give users a simple, safe and secure application that did its job well. That meant prioritising the basics and necessary updates over the quality-of-life improvements. Instead of overwhelming our users at launch, we wanted to ensure a great first impression and smooth experience. Now that time has passed and our users have clearly understood what Multipli offers, we can work to bring you more sophisticated features and experiences on our application.

• Building features you demand: The advantage of having such a community like Multipli, where there is less noise and more constructive feedback, is that we can clearly hear what features our users want. We observed multiple requests across platforms like Discord, X, and our support tickets where people felt this feature could offer them more flexibility. Naturally, our devs prioritised getting this feature out as quickly as possible.

So this is the story behind why the feature arrived when it did.

How to use it?

There aren't any specific steps to be followed to enable partial sell/withdrawal, head over to the sell tab and choose your network and xToken, and enter the amount you would like to sell.

Please be aware of the waiting time for withdrawals before making your decision.

Note: Currently, the feature is available to users who have a Multipli balance of above $10K. It will be rolled out to more users soon.
